Please join our inaugural CEEF Secret Supper fundraiser, bringing the Cape Elizabeth community together through catered private dinner parties at mystery locations across town. The event culminates in a night of drinks, dessert and celebration.

As a host, you’ll welcome approximately 10 guests into your home, though we can accommodate more or fewer based on your comfort level. You’ll provide appetizers and beverages for both cocktail hour and dinner service, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The evening will require adequate seating and table setup for dinner service, along with creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for your guests. An important part of the experience is keeping the secret—your dining location won’t be revealed to guests until close to the event date. In return for hosting, you’ll receive complimentary admission to the dinner and dessert reception, plus recognition in all event materials.

Wait, it’s actually a SECRET? When do I find out where I’m eating?
Yes, it’s really a secret! You’ll receive your dining location shortly before the event date. We promise it’s worth the suspense – and your dinner conversation will definitely include comparing notes about the mystery!
What if my friends and I bought separate tickets? Will we be at different tables?
If you purchased individual tickets, you’ll likely be seated at different secret locations for dinner. But don’t worry – you’ll reunite with all your friends for the dessert reception, auction, and celebration! Plus, you’ll have twice as many stories to share about your separate dinner adventures.
Can I request to dine with my friends?
Absolutely! You can purchase up to 2 tickets to dine together, grab a $750 “Double Date” package for 4 people, or go all-in with a $2,500 table where you hand-select all your dinner companions (up to 10 guests).
What if I’m terrible at small talk with strangers?
Perfect – that’s what good food and shared mystery are for! Plus, you’ll all have plenty to talk about (hint: “So, did anyone else spend the week guessing where we’d end up?”). And since you’re all there supporting Cape Elizabeth schools, you can swap stories about CEEF’s impact – like that amazing robotics program your kid loves or an inspirational visiting artist. If you’re still worried, grab up to 2 friends with your ticket so you’ll have familiar faces at your table.
Do I need to bring anything to dinner?
Just your appetite and your curiosity! Your gracious host will provide everything needed for a wonderful evening. Think of yourself as the guest of honor.
What’s the difference between a $150 ticket and a $75 ticket?
The $150 gets you the full mystery experience – secret dinner location plus the community celebration. The $75 “dessert only” ticket means you skip the secret part and join everyone at 8 PM for desserts, auction, and celebration. Both are great options depending on your schedule and budget!
